HOW TO SPECIFY

Below is a checklist of information needed, or that requires consideration, in order to allow us to provide you with the best possible service.

1. Specification
   Tell us the process you require and its relevant specification number. Click here to go to relevant page for guidance.
   
   
2. Required film thickness
   We need to know how much coating you want. Click here to go to relevant page for guidance (anodising). Remember anodising is half growth and half ‘penetration’. Electroless nickel is all growth.
   
   
3. Material/ specifications
   We need to now what material you are sending us. Click here for information on Electroless nickel and Here for the relevant pages on anodising
   
   
4. Post treatment requirements
   Do you want your work sealed, or dyed or P.T.F.E. coated?
   
   
5. Masking
   Can we process all over or do we have to mask? Remember it is much more costly to mask than to process an unnecessary area.
   
   
6. Jigging
   Where can we hold the part, remember the jig marks.
